MamoLog – Privacy Policy (English)

Last updated: June 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MamoLog (“the App”), developed by Nanashin, handles your information. The Japanese version of this policy is available here.

1. Information We Collect

The records you create in the App — text, photos, and videos — are stored only on your device. We do not transmit or collect them on any external server. The App does not require an account.

2. Advertising

The App displays ads provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may use a device identifier (IDFA) and process related data (such as approximate location based on IP address and usage data) to deliver and measure ads. On iOS, the App asks for your permission (App Tracking Transparency) before tracking; if you decline, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant. For users in the EEA and UK, where required, the App shows a consent message (Google User Messaging Platform) before serving ads, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad Consent Settings. For details, see Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

3. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not provide your information to third parties except as required by law.

4. Handling of Sensitive Information

The App may be used to record sensitive personal information, such as records related to domestic violence or stalking. All such data is stored only on your device, and no third party — including the developer — can access it.

5. Deleting Your Data

You can delete all of your data at any time via Settings → Delete All Data in the App. Deleting the App also permanently erases all data stored in it.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. Because your records exist only on your device, you can exercise these rights directly in the App — you can view, edit, or delete your data at any time. For ad-related data processed by Google, please refer to Google’s privacy controls.

7. Your Rights (California / CCPA)

We do not sell your personal information. Ad-related data handled by Google AdMob is described in Section 2. California residents may have rights regarding personal information collected by advertising partners; see Google’s Privacy Policy for details and controls.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Document Templates

Any document generated by the App is a template. It does not guarantee legal validity or evidentiary value. For important matters, we recommend consulting a lawyer or legal advisory service.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy as needed. If there are significant changes, we will notify you through an App update.
